ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Flight path screen print. This illustration is an amalgamation of 27 different photographs taken one cold January afternoon just to the west of Heathrow airport. The print has a great sense of movement as it shows the flightpath of 5 different planes as they take off from the aiport, each plane in the print is from a different photo. The lady in the foreground is my wife Lotta, everytime I look at the print I think how isolated and almost vulnerable she looks beneath the jets. It's a hand pulled screen print on 300 GSM Somerset archival paper. Limited edition of 100 signed and numbered. Print is A1 in size, 59.4 x 84.1cm or 23.39 x 33.11 inches.
