Framed Dimensions: 70 x 70 cm Aluminium silver box frame The Last Sitting is a book and photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe by photographer Bert Stern. The photo shoot was commissioned by Vogue magazine in late June 1962, taking place over three daily sessions, just six weeks before she died. Bert Stern published The Last Sitting in 1982. The book included many of the over 2,500 images that Stern had shot, including contact sheets with images Monroe had disliked and crossed out. Maria Bejarano, with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, continued her artistic curriculum in different schools of Italy and Great Britain. She currently lives and works in Madrid, searching new trends on artistic communications in new resources with industrial materials such as aluminium and metacrylate. Durante su trayectoria ha expuesto en numerosas exposiciones y ferias nacionales e internacionales, su obra se encuentra en colecciones como la Biblioteca Nacional, Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, IberCaja o Cajasur entre otras. Actualmente desarrolla su trabajo en Madrid donde reside, buscando en nuevos soportes de caracter industrial como el aluminio y especialmente el metacrilato nuevos lenguajes plasticos.
