About the Artist

MirosłAw Niesyto

Poland

Mirosław Niesyto- a holder of PhD in Fine Arts. A graduate of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. He obtained a diploma with honourable mention for his graduation project realised in Professor Jan Bujnowski's Studio. Since 2005 an employee of his Alma Mater, where in 2015 he took the position of an Assistant Professor in the Studio of Photography at the Faculty of Art. His main areas of expertise include photography, printmaking, and film. An author and curator of exhibitions as well as an organiser of creative workshops . In his artistic pursuits, he is most interested in mutual relations between photography and printmaking (noble techniques), but also issues pertaining to inter-penetration of digital and analogue art media. Hi works can be viewed in the collections of the Museum of History of Photography in Krakow, Collection of the International Print Biennale Yerevan, as well as in private collections.
