About The Artwork

New Media: Algorithmic Art, Vector and New Media on Aluminium. The target series is inspired of minimal art by Max Bill, Bridget Riley, Frank Stella and others. Since 2004, I make with my own software random color artworks, similar like Gerhard Richter or Erem Yalçındağ did for example, but some years already before them. The random generator gives me 1 of 50 tries an interesting color concept, which I develop then further. Most target images are only based on pure randomness. The unique wall images are in round shape, have a very big resolution (no pixels visible) and are printed in highest quality by the LUMAS factory, on alu dibond panels. In a livingroom or bedroom, they provide a special character and spread an athmosphere of calmeness and relaxation. The artist is himself discovering the different color schemes with fascination, which are readable as feelings or moods

The software for random color graphics was developed in 2004 by his Webdesign company subwave. Version 1 of it was available many years for free download on the web. It was used by other artists for similar graphics - and paintings. Gerhard Richter did his big artwork with random color stripes only in 2013. These were maybe influenced or even made with that free software. Especially the color ring graphics with random colors were first used by Daniel Wave. With the enhanced software, he can now produce also other graphic styles in very high resolution. Only ca. 1 of 50 random images is interesting enough for further workmanship and print.
