Married to Mary Lu and raised 4 children in Evanston, IL. Became a printmaker in 1995 and have worked as an artist at the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood for 25 plus years. Etching and its derivatives have been my focus since being introduced to Debra Lader at the Chicago Printmakers. My daughter thought that my pen and ink drawings of Chicago looked like etchings and decided that I should really learn to etch. I became involved in this form of printmaking and continue to work hard at improving my skills as a printmaker.
