"The Friendliest Little Scorpion" series accompanies a narrative poem of the same name—written in the tone and style of a classic children’s book. The story concerns an overly ebullient arachnid who just doesn't know his own strength. To wit, whenever he goes in for a cuddle, the animal in question invariably ends up dead. Naively failing to comprehend the havoc his devastating nature is wreaking on his fellow creature, he grows puzzled to find his dinner parties unattended, and his calling cards, all unreturned. One day, a simple walk through the forest evolves into an expedition of self-discovery wherein he comes to learn the vital importance of treating others with the utmost sensitivity.
