Dmitry created a series of drawings of men and women playing musical instruments. He wanted to convey a sense of the individual being inseparable from the musical instrument they were playing. He uses an almost surreal form to wrap the players around their musical instruments and you get a real sense of music coming from these drawings. Dmitry has made a selection of these drawings available as gallery quality digital prints of the original ink drawing of a woman playing a violin. This original hand drawing was made by Dmitry Kuznichenko. It has been printed in Australia using the highest quality archival paper with a specialised art printing studio. The special art printing process delivers an exceptionally detailed print that rivals the original line drawing.

Australia
Dmitry was born in 1962 in Ukraine and he studied for six years at the Academy of Fine Arts and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in 1986. Because of the many challenges of life under Russian rule, Dmitry left to find a new life in Australia and has been living here for over 30 years. As soon as he arrived in Australia, Dmitry started to embrace the colours and stories of a much more open and free society. What’s more he was and is very productive! Dmitry has an extensive collection of drawings, watercolour paintings, and oil paintings. He is renowned for his use of light and perspective which give all of his works a kind of surreal movement across the canvas or paper. Dmitry is in many ways a modern impressionist. His watercolours and oil paintings examine the objects around us - street scapes, ordinary people, children and pets, city scapes, working people and so on. He forces us to re-examine these objects via vivid representations of how these objects may look with a slightly different perspective. And in most cases when we look at the world through Dmitry's impressionist pallet, we find very positive messages about the world around us, and our place in it.
