I seek to discover dynamic and harmonious forms which will continue to inspire. This piece, titled "Ungraspable Truth No.2", takes inspiration from that truth that lies beyond the capacity of thought; therefore, ungraspable. It is suggested however that this truth is accessible existentially.

The sculpture stands on 3 points of contact. Asymmetricality is explored deeply. The lightness of the jelutong wood coupled with the smooth fluidity and secondary detailing instills the piece with a sense of purity and cleanliness. The subtle grain patterning of the natural material displays itself gracefully along the curving surface. The initial wood block consisted of 3 pieces, flattened and laminated together in allignment.

Here's a poem I wrote at the time of discovery:

From behind the thick glass window
The muted outdoor scene carried on
Like it had not a beginning
And will have not an end.

Is ths the middle then?

Precisely the middle—
The middle of eternity...
Always
