ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is made by spinning blue merino wool combined with a light weighted synthetic fleece with acrylic paint. It's based on the concept of decay and growth. The piece can be hanged on a wall by placing it on a thin nail/pin. My work is based on a personal engagement with finding beauty in the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. By exploring a broad range of materials, techniques and processes in my work, often combined with traditional crafts, I aim to create new poetic worlds. Most of the works are balancing between attraction and repulsion.
