Shazequin is an irreverent concept in mannequin art, created by the artist Shaz Bilyard. Shaz is a British-South African lesbian artist who resides in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, from which she draws her inspiration. She created the first Shazequin in August 2015. The art is an energetic and passionate outpouring of colour, defiance and freedom. Shaz has a unique gift for expressing humour and sensuality in fusion and in so doing she aims to break down both artistic and social conventions and gender stereotypes.
