This wall assemblage – composed of birch plywood, custom hand-marbled papers, and gold leaf – offers a unique break from the traditional rectangle canvas and is ready to hang on your wall. The flat wall sculpture evokes clouds, mushrooms, mountains, & planets and hovers on a golden horizon bar. A repeated semi-circle form contains abstract marble designs evocative of patterns found in astral phenomena. The visual juxtaposition highlights the aesthetic parallels found within mycology, meteorology, geology, and astronomy. The palette is muted orange, coral, peach, and blacks.
