Art Description

Sculpture: Clay, Pottery, Plastic on Ceramic, Glass.

Inspiration was from folk art and fragments pottery shards. I began to use these as a way to begin with an idea that began with an object first to then react to it similar to how joan Miro did with his paintings. He coined the term Automatism and let the washes on his canvas inspire the works direction. This process allows direction and discovery.......Over time my work has many other directions its takes. I always hope that viewers can find meaning that creates connections to themselves.
