Art Description

Sculpture: Fabric, Paint, Stone, Wood, Wax on Aluminium, Stone, Wood.

CRADLE is part of a series of modern sculptures I am currently working on using both found and manufactured materials. The woods, forest and mountains of Tuscany where I live and work, are a continual source of inspiration to me.

Barga, the walled medieval city where I reside is a reminder of both the impermanence and the circle of life that joins and anchors us all. My studio at nearby Gallicano, is a haven of peace and tranquillity where I can give due consideration before applying myself to the physical task of producing original, though provoking conversation pieces for both corporate and private collectors alike.
