About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the beautiful old skyscrapers of Chicago built in the early 20th century with steel beams fastened by hand with giant wrenches and nuts and bolts and plates. It features a 3 foot I-Beam and 3 old wrenches that came out of a machinists shop that was recently closed.
