About The Artwork
A pair of circus performing horses rear up on their hind legs, creating a symmetrical design. The horses, in bas-relief 1" thick, are of cast aluminum, ideal for outdoor display. I fabricated the angled base of stainless steel, with a design of birds welded to its front. I am reminded of Jack London's novel, "Call of the Wild" about how animals (and humans) are creatures of habit and will want to perseverate in their activities no matter how hard or painful.
