A square (102x102 cm) of galvanized steel mesh is partially cut open on the diagonals. The four resulting triangles are folded outwards. This creates a new square of the same size, now in a diamond shape. Through the "transparent" mesh, both squares are visible in their entirety, and a regular octagon is also visible. In the middle is now an open square. The mesh consists of a grid of squares. Themes of Nico Kok are reflected in this work such as: the square, square/diamond square, open/closed, how is the work made, application of material properties, square in square, etc. The work is attached to the wall with small nails.
