About The Artwork
The idea for the trilogy (Dog, Pig, Sheep) came from my favorite Pink Floyd album, Animals. The album is conceptual, and even more than 40 years old, it sends some powerful messages that still apply. Album criticizes capitalism, while my trilogy criticizes consumerism The dog is a high powered, successful businessman, predator by nature. He does not waste this opportunity to achieve higher material wealth. He is without feelings. He walks over every hurdle in front of him. But that comes with the price? There is something sinister but attractive in black tires that makes them my favorite medium.
