About The Artwork

‘Dragon's eyes’ Recycled plastic, recycled paper, slime, 2021 30 x 30 x 13 cm Dragon's eyes, this is one of the species of coral Zoantida, these corals are characterized by very bright green and pink fluorescent colors. Zoantides can contain the deadly poison palitoxin, so they should not be touched. Corals are located in coral reefs around the world. These polyps are found mainly on the islands of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, including Fiji, Tonga, the Solomon Islands, and the Great Barrier Reef. It is incredible that such unusual inhabitants live underwater. In the sculpture, I recreated a part of the coral reef of the Zoantiids, I imagined myself swimming underwater and swimming past these indescribably interesting corals and being as if in another world. The sculpture is made of recycled paper and plastic by the author's technology, and also slime.
