Emotional Baggage Sculpture

¨Emotional Baggage¨ is a project designed during the Covid_19 Pandemia, 2020 a year when I had enough time to express my creativity and tidy up every corner of my home. I left the safety box last, too many unresolved emotions locked in my most personal box. Letters, documents, old passports, ID's, credit cards, jewelry, foreign money, certificates, passwords, all classified and mostly schredded to be weaved into a canvas bag of intimacies. The white strips are interlaced at the top to give space for kindness in my baggage and the leather strap adds an interactive element, a hopeful light carry-on. Baggage is a part of any trip and looking at it as part of the journey might provide us better ways to use it, rather than ignore it.
