About The Artwork

This is a statue of Eos, the ancient Greek Goddess of Dawn. Here she brings us the day with a bird in her hair representing the morning and a sleeping kitten at her feet representing the night. She holds a male bullfrog who she is about to introduce to the female in front of her at the base representing fertility. I added a squirrel to show her desirability. These photos are of the plasticine sculpture of which I made a mold to be used to cast it in bronze. Allow six months for delivery for the casting process to be completed. This is the first of four statues that will be part of the Ancient Times of Day group I am executing.
