FRIDA KAHLO I always thought of myself as the weirdest person in the world. But then I started to think about how many people there are in the world. Among so many people, there must of course be someone like me, who felt strange and flawed in similar ways. Then I started imagining it. I dreamed that he was sitting somewhere thinking about me too. So if you're out there and you're reading this and you know this, yes, that's right, I'm here and I'm just as weird as you. I thought that some women learn to struggle in life and some women are born to struggle. The struggle that started with polio when you were six years old continues throughout your life. That you break the stereotypes imposed by social life with your eyebrows and mustaches that you sometimes do not buy and sometimes with your stance against the image of a deceived woman, and that you are a strong and stubborn woman enough to attend your first solo exhibition by having your bed carried to the exhibition hall, when the day comes. So in my dream you were the one walking around in green and strong no matter what. Limited Edition 4/25 This sculpture is made of 1360 wooden cubes and Norwegian moss. We cut each piece first, then sand it and finally paint each piece according to the design we have made. After that we mix and stick our moss of different colors. It is a completely unique work due to the wood's and mosses own texture. 100% real seaweed Does not need water Does not need fertilizing or pruning Doesn't need sunlight Suitable for indoor use. Arda Ganioglu After graduating from Istanbul University Fine Arts Faculty in 2004, my only goal was to develop my designer identity in wood and its texture. The excitement of the little ships we built with trees in my grandfather's workshop when I was little never left me. I was fascinated by the fact that every part of the tree was cut down with him. In the beginning, it was a hobby that I struggled to keep the memories alive, but over the years, my passion for the tree turned into a passion that I could not give up.This time I rolled up my sleeves to bring the designs I dreamed of to life.
