"Upon this wing I carry a village" A vibrant golden yellow arc reaches out, juts through space. Repeated mark-making incises the surface. Minimal and bold sculptural wall art is made of etched encaustic wax on plywood. Encaustic art involves fusing heated beeswax and damar resin on the surface of the substrate. The results are a soft, barely opaque, molten surface full of nuance and character that catches the light. Signed on the back, and ready to hang on the wall, with a metal hanger, or can be framed by the collector.
