Sculpture, Metal on Stone
Size: 7.5 W x 14 H x 4.5 D in
The work, titled Hesidency, is a female figure with wings, a dove skull head and a stand. The female figure is a girl's body as a symbol of life and youth, but it is shackled. To reflect this, a hunched over shape with hands tied behind was chosen, the wings of the bone, which are directed downwards, symbolize the fall and the inability to fly. Why a pigeon skull? The dove is a symbol of peace, and the skull of a dove is like a loss in ourselves. The basis on which this composition stands is a vertebra, a vertebra is like a part of the spine, that is, the trunk of a person, so this figure stands on the edge which conveys the hesidency of a person who is frozen in this state due to his own limitations. This piece of art is very difficult to make and is created using liquid stone and potal techniques. Liquid stone technique is mixing epoxy resin with stone. All material is prepared by hand, chopped or ground to the size that was needed for specific parts, steel inserts were also used, which were also manually processed, after the whole sculpture was ground, polished and joined, it consists of 6 separate elements. The material from which the work is made is white marble, black marble, haliotis shells and potal.

"A Fineart artist endeavors to convey his own psychological and philosophical perspective on experience and emotions through his artwork. In sculpture, he consistently explores novel forms and images, employing a variety of materials. For many years, he has dedicated himself to studying and attempting to define his identity as an artist and the direction in which to focus his work. Within his creations, he captures beauty as he perceives it, using plastic forms, diverse materials, and intricate elements. The artistic process is highly challenging, involving an extensive search for an image and the production of materials for sculpting. Sculptures typically comprise numerous elements, reflecting the prolonged stages of shaping, casting, processing, and connecting, culminating in the final result."
