ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hugging Couple XX is Marko's latest in his series. It is a limited edition of 30 cast in Bronze resin or Marble resin. It is also available as an edition of 9 cast in Bronze by commission. Marko carved his first Hugging Couple in 1996, so this makes it twenty versions in 20 years. It is based on his very popular Hugging Couple VIII sculpture, but is scaled down to half that size. It represents two people hugging suggesting love, closeness and mutual support.
