La dolce vita Sculpture

Handmade sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The "la dolce vita" sculpture: give every day the chance to be the most beautiful of your life. The sculptor wanted to give this hope by enclosing it in poetry. The processing of this work is carried out entirely by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, or in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back to about twenty million years ago (such as shells, marine plants and shark teeth), makes it suitable for processing details. The fossils present are visible on the surface of the work and make it even more unique and fascinating. The sculpture "la dolce vita" like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-sculpted, is unique and signed in etching by the artist.
