This gorgeous sculptural painting is made from traditional canvas stretcher techniques, but is not flat. The top layer of paint is at least 1/8th inch thick, possibly as thick as 1/4", and the brush applied paint is as glossy as is possible to make paint. The continuous brush stroke from edge to edge, is very clean. This was painted with 46 layers of paint, and you can see the build up of this on the edges, with the paint literally growing outward from the canvas on the two leading edges. This is one of the best paintings I have ever made. This is important in the art world.
