About The Artwork
Readding Lot's story and looking at different illustrations showing this scene, I've always doubted, how Lot could peacefully leave his wife behind and walk farther with his daughters. I can’t imagine myself behaving like this, so this is my design for this scene. "Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt." GEN 19 (KJV)
