‘Love You’ is an original sandblasted piece by contemporary artist Clive Sefton. Created from high-grade 6mm Optimirror, the piece is from a limited edition of 20. Clive Sefton is known for his 'accessible' and fun artwork. His word search prints, for instance, are typographically beautiful pieces with an interactive element, inviting the viewer to scour the print for hidden words and phrases. Sefton enjoys the element of fun, but his work also engages with the possibility of finding something new in an image or getting a sense of achievement. ‘Love You’ also plays with this concept, creating an intricate design with a simple heart at its centre. Created by sandblasting a mirror to leave an intricate maze with a small heart in its centre, the piece can be seen as self-affirming as the viewer is reflected back at themselves in the heart and so the object of their own love. Beyond the gameplay, this is a stunning piece of art: a shimmering graphic image set against a white background, fusing futuristic minimalism with the intricacy of an ancient pattern. Complete with a pen for finding your way through the maze, ‘Love You’ is signed and numbered by the artist. Please note that this piece is supplied unframed.

Clive Sefton is a Brighton based artist and designer. His acclaimed series of 'Word Searches' combine clean and beautiful design with fun and interaction. 'I've always been interested in typography and wanted to create typographic works with a twist. I also like interactivity with artwork, and the idea that each time someone looks at a piece, they might see something else...' 'Some people prefer to not draw on the glass, leaving the piece solely as a graphic form, but others feel they need to circle the words and get a sense of achievement and satisfaction by doing so. I like the fact it can be shown in so many ways' - Clive Sefton
