Madre Natura Sculpture

Hand-crafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. "Mother Nature" giver of timeless life, Mother who contains visceral love. The processing of this work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back to around twenty million years ago (such as shells, marine plants and shark teeth), makes it suitable for detail processing. The fossils present are visible on the surface of the work and make it even more unique and fascinating. The sculpture "Mother Nature", like every work by Andrea Serra, being sculpted by hand, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
