I was born in 1984 in Ankara. I studied Industrial Electronics, and coming from a technical background has profoundly shaped my artistic practice. Structural thinking, precision, material awareness, proportion, and discipline form the foundation of how I work. In 2004, I established my own studio and began my independent production journey. That same year, I created my first work using wood. Since then, wood has been more than a material for me—it is a living body carrying memory, time, and movement within its veins. My focus is not to dominate the material, but to reveal its inherent energy without compromising its natural integrity. At the center of my practice are wood wall sculptures, alongside painting, installation, and digital painting. My process includes surface carving, layered structural construction, modular systems, precise measurement techniques, integrated lighting elements, and digitally assisted design studies. I approach each work through planning and calculation, then allow space for the organic flow of the material. For me, art exists in the balance between control and intuition. When I intervene in the veins of wood, I do so carefully. I do not impose form; I extract it. I aim to uncover what is already present within the material and illuminate it with my own consciousness. The resulting works carry both technical rigor and emotional depth. I maintain a disciplined and research-driven practice. Each piece emerges from a long process of experimentation and dialogue with the material. By combining industrial logic with organic sensitivity, I seek to build a new visual language between nature and human awareness. For me, art is not only a form of expression—it is a process of transformation. Every interaction with the living veins of wood marks the beginning of a new narrative.
