«MY HOME» Bas-relief 2020 123x123x20cm. Weight 14kg Warped steel, enamel, electric welding, built-in LED lighting Earth is a planet that is our only home in the solar system. How often do we reflect on the passage of time in outer space and our influence as intelligent beings on the life of our planet? We must value our home and prevent the extinction of this wonderful world. Technical description: The work is made of sheet steel, 0.6 mm thick, which ensures low weight when using metal. Using electric welding, I fused the sun and planets. I also created a warped metal effect. In natural light, the work looks very voluminous. In addition, there is a built-in backlight for the sun (warm white light) and planet Earth (blue light). Planet Earth is painted in Blue with a metallic effect. Lighting works from a 220 V network. The set includes a 5m network cable. When the built-in lighting is on, the work looks very effective, especially in complete darkness and creates an atmosphere of meditation and peace. At the back there is a fastening in the form of a welded frame, for which the work is hung on the wall. The frame is welded at a distance of 10 cm from the canvas itself, which creates an effect of shading from the wall, thereby emphasizing the warped shape of the metal with the help of a shadow. The set includes spare Led bulbs.
