About The Artwork
During this copper project, my focus lies on the process. I can't be sure of how the piece will end up. I have an idea but the material might want someting else. I also want to keep room for my subconscious to work on my piece.This is what will make it unique and not even I could create an exact copy of it. This piece is an exploration with the metal, copper is for me a new a unknown material. It gets very soft and conformable as it is heatened up. Then by being processed it quickly hardens again and gets unruly. The element of this piece is: air. This wind is a playful one. Frame: H: 25 cm W: 25 cm D: 5 cm. Sculpture: H: 4 cm W: 5 cm.
