ABOUT Sonja Cabalt is a multi disciplinair artist, located in Amsterdam. Her work is based on a personal engagement with finding beauty in the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete, to create pieces which embrace the natural cycle from growth to decay. By exploring a broad range of materials, techniques and processes, often combined with traditional crafts, she aims to create new poetic worlds, seducing the viewer with their visual appeal but allowing mixed feelings with her balance of attraction and repulsion.
