Karen Bullitt is a botanical artist based in Irving, Texas, and is the founder of Fauxtanicals. Using European crepe papers, Karen designs and creates unique one-of-a-kind floral sculptures. She first became interested in creating paper flowers in 2018 and continues her passion for paper floristry by creating realistic, exotic, and abstract botanical structures. Karen sculpts each petal by hand, paying careful attention to detail to create life-like pieces. Karen draws inspiration from nature, floral photography, and her imagination. Her portfolio of creations includes flowers, fruits, vegetables, and an oversized Venus Flytrap.
