About The Artwork
Unusual, off-white heaviness. An elementary wall object made of aluminium. The originally white ink has turned white-grey through repeated manual polishing, and the bare aluminum also shines in part. The dramaturgy of this relief world changes constantly depending on the incidence of light and the perspective of the viewer. The work can also be exposed to direct sunlight, even high humidity has no effect on the work of art because of the metal shell that covers the supporting structure made of wood. The ink polished into the metal is waterproof and lightfast. Weighs approx. 17 kg, secure attachment is easily possible with a pre-assembled aluminum U-rail that is offset inwards. Discreetly signed on the front with cR and additionally dated 2022 on the back.
