Sculpture, Glass on Fiberglass
Size: 67 W x 92 H x 72 D in
Ships in a Crate
This is a very large playful outdoor mosaic sculpture of one of my signature "Watch Dogs". It's made of mirror, stones and mostly Italian tiles. I have done over 300 life sized dog sculptures over the last 15 years and I thought it was time to do a giant one that could go in someone's yard or at their business etc. I've had it in front of my studio and literally hundreds of people have stopped to take selfies with it and it has given so many people joy. This sculpture can withstand hot and freezing temperatures and is not hard to clean or maintain. I'm happy to address any questions you may have about that. It can ship anywhere in the continental 48 United States in a wood crate. I've always been inspired by the mirrors that Niki de Saint Phalle used in her sculptures so I have incorporated them into mine. I love way I felt when I first saw her work and I wanted to give people the same sense of awe. I love seeing peoples smiles when they first see it. :)

I grew up in Laguna Beach, California and lived in Southern California most of my life, however, I am now residing half my time in North Carolina. I've been a professional artist for over 20 years, this is my full time job, it's not a back-up plan. I've shown my artwork in galleries across the United States and in Los Cabos, Mexico. In addition to my art I have published for books all sold at Barnes & Noble etc. but my true passion is painting and sculpting. I'm passionate about women's issues, equal rights, the environment and animals. Artist Statement: I often use vivid colors to feature topics with a darker undertone. Some of the subjects I paint about are: women, race, equality, politics, the environment, pop culture, power & mental illness. My work is often iconic and easily recognizable by my unique style of outlining my subjects both literally and figuratively.
