Searching for Signals Sculpture

Jacob Fishman is an artist, author, and engineer. The activities at Jacob’s studio are focused on the engineering, fabrication, and conservation of artworks that utilize neon, aswell as a wide scope of electronic devices. A few years after opening his studio, Jacob, his wife, Petrie, and their crew built dozens of original sculptures for internationally known artists. The nineties also saw Jacob’s studio producing dozens of neon sculptures, as well as offering workshops and releasing two neon videos.The new century started with the publication of The Neon Engineers Notebook, co-authored by Fishman and Crook, the second edition followed five years later. Jacob and Petrie are also artists, creating their own original neon works.
