"Shiva Tattva // Auspicious principle" Sculpture

My art follows the path of meditation and self-realization, in which I strive to make the Divine quality visible. My works are not just visual experiences, but convey deep messages that are influenced by Vedic literature and the Sanskrit language. For years, I looked to the Bhagavad Gītā as my muse, always providing me with new inspiration. The purpose of my artworks are to shed light on who we are, what our task is during our earthly life, and what kind of relationship we have with our nature. During my journeys in India, I became even more immersed in Hinduism, and I decided to share this process with others through my art. My works are quite diverse, abstract oil and ink paintings, stone and driftwood sculptures. I pay special attention to the use of Sanskrit scripts, which I write on my stone sculptures in my recent works, as well as I incorporate it into my abstract paintings, as I believe that the power and vibration of Sanskrit words and sounds can raise our consciousness. For years I used to look to the verses of the Bhagavad Gīta as my muse. When I was in a good mood, I took out the Gīta, when I was in a bad mood, the Bhagavad Gīta cheered me up. Whatever questions I had, the Gīta always answered. This is how it became one of my favorite reading. It always has something new in store for everyone. Yoga and art led me all the way to India. I spent two wonderful months on the stunning banks of the Ganges in Rishikesh. Almost every day I basked on the sunny riverbank. I painted on rocks, sometimes a Vishnu murti, sometimes a Shiva, and Lakshmi murties, Krishna, and everyone’s favorite Ganesha or mantras, while I enjoyed the caressing rays of the December sun. To be honest, I have never felt the closeness of God as strongly as I did there in India. I felt Him in everything, even the dust seemed radiant by Him. I thought I could discover His gaze in the eyes of cows as well. Everything and everyone were smiling. That’s when I knew I would come back here. And so it was. My journey to India in 2024 was a strong Shiva touch, so I spontaneously took myself, my brushes, my paints, and created a Shiva temple in my small town in Hungary under an abandoned railway bridge. Sanskrit, with Devanāgari script, which has been incorporated into my art again and again, is a very strong urge for me. I suspect it’s a story from a previous life.
