Showed at the The Other Art Fair
Artist featured in a collection
The collection is inspired and reminiscent of nature’s textures and earth tones of the shoreline. Showcasing the natural stoneware in a porcelain clay body, this vessel is bathed in a smooth white glaze, juxtaposed with the negative space of the naked stoneware, and then finished with the textural crawl glaze that emphasizes the line and curve of this moon jar.

She is the founder of Femme Sole, an artisanal ceramics brand Creating unique Functional Design and sculptural art. Her studio is based in Mastic Beach on the East End of Long Island, New York. Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Jessamyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art from New York University. In 2018 Jessamyn began her journey in the craft of ceramics. She is actively involved with several artist organizations, including the Clay Art Guild in Watermill, NY, The Montauk Art Association, The South Bay Art Association, Guild Hall, The Patchogue Arts Council, and Gallery North. Her work has garnered international attention, with her Femme Sole Signature Collection showcased at prestigious exhibitions such as 1000 Vases in Paris and Milan in 2022, and Red Dot Miami. Jessamyn has also received four 1st Place awards and exhibited her art at notable venues including the Every Woman Biennial, The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Parrish Art Museum, The Other Art Fair in Brooklyn, Guild Hall and various galleries and museums across Long Island. In addition to her ceramics, Jessamyn is a founding member of the Mastic Beach Conservancy. She serves on the board and the fundraising committee, organizing events to support their conservation initiatives.
