ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hand-crafted sculpture on Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. The "Dreamer" sculpture is part of the PRISMA Collection, characterized by the use of glazed ceramic cubes. "No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small to dream". The processing of this work is entirely done by hand on this stone which is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for detail processing. The "Dreamer" sculpture, like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-sculpted, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
