Slices have been cut of a cube of styrofoam, which have been processed (sanding with water with scouring powder with coal and coke) and brought back to a cube. These new black cube are cut diagonally and pivoted back together. The lines are now at an angle of 90 degrees on each other. The cubes are placed next to each other in a pattern to create different square patterns.
Themes of Nico Kok such as, squares, cubes, material use, how is the work made, are reflected in this work.
The work is signed on the back.
