St. Nicholas of Myra Sculpture

The presented icon is a continuation of my work in the series "Carved Wood and Glass Icons" The icon presented by me is made of walnut, the face of the Saint is made of pear, the background is made of stained glass. Saint Nicholas of Myra, or as he is also called, Nicholas the Wonderworker is one of the most revered Christian saints. Thousands of people around the world turn to him daily with prayers, and many of them leave evidence of how Nikolai the Wonderworker helped in solving their most difficult and difficult problems. But how, exactly, when, to whom and in what does this amazing saint help? We can learn about this from his life, as well as from the numerous testimonies of miracles that he performed after the earthly death.
