The wait - L'attesa Sculpture

Waiting means being with the mind turned to the person who has to arrive or what has to happen. Much of our life is nothing but a long wait for something that is at the door, and that waiting is the richest part of our life. Kafka wrote that his whole life was nothing but "a wait before birth". Samuel Beckett with Waiting for Godot and Leopardi in Village Saturday, when he described the day before the party as a moment of maximum happiness, more important than the party itself. G. , interessato da sempre alla relazione tra il sé interiore e quello esteriore, realizza volumi in ferro su cui installa piccole figure in bronzo. Il supporto diventa racconto del proprio interiore e l'espressione corporea in relazione allo spazio racconta di stati emotivi e condizioni psicologiche del soggetto. La scultura può essere venduta con il piedistallo e con un apposito sistema di illuminazione.
