As the baby elephant is confused and terrified by the lions approach and then relieved all in one heart stopping moment. She hears the all-consuming rage of her father charging with all his might, protecting his baby from harm. “Don’t you dare” bristles from his every fiber. The lion knows defeat and reluctantly cowers. Indignant, he tries to escape the mortal danger he has created. Barry Ormond captures the magnificence of these three animals.
