The theme of this work represents the unity of opposites, one of the assumed principles for the eternal balance of the universe in which the material and the spiritual harmoniously coexist. The shape is a three-dimensional mandala, a central composition created through fractal geometry that represents the universe, the spiritual journey, starting from outside to the inner core, through layers. The sculpture creates an unity of two basic geometric shapes, a circle and a square, the circle represents the heavenly, divine, spiritual, while the square refers to the earthly, physical and material. That duality, those two principles are united in one spatial mandala which in a way represents a sacred place for meditation. The object is a shell construction of concrete made with special reinforcement techniques and slow drying. Apart from the artistic aesthetic sculptural and symbolic value, the work can have a functional purpose as a coffee table in an interior setting

Jordan Tasevski graduated from The State High School For Applied Arts in 2003. He then continues his education at the Faculty of Architecture. Due to the synthesis of two domains in his education he understands art and architecture as a cultural phenomenon, as a communication act, and as a symbolic exchange. This explains his affinity for interpretation of the diverse cultural codes in distinctive spatial unities. He possesses a sense of recognition of the archetypal layer of markers and what is even more relevant their creative unification in spaces and forms with a pronounced narration and poeticism. After graduating in 2009 he has been engaged in the design and construction of several public and private buildings, and facilities of historical and cultural significance, as well as participation in public competitions, architectural and artistic workshops, and exhibitions. In Construction, Architecture and Ecology Magazine - Porta 3 publishes articles on architecture and urbanism that examine the contemporary issues that modern cities are experiencing.
