About The Artwork

This sculptural work is from a series of pigment and plaster works that are influenced by the history of marble and its association with stature and power. Here we have soft forms made solid as the work conflates natural forms with those of the body. They appear to be stone but upon closer inspection they are made by hand and playing with your perceptions.
