Vaso 02 Sculpture

My name is Sara and I live in Perugia, in the heart of Italy. My research focuses on my origins, the places of my childhood and the nature that surrounds them that although sometimes wild attracts me and at the same time causes me a sense of bewilderment. In my works I try to create the connection between nature and my being, in my artworks I try to let nature in and find a connection with my being. I like my works to look like “just picked,” where the composition seems casual and the subjects with a natural look. The dried leaves, the wild flowers, the soft geometric shapes that frame them, connect me with the most intimate and inner part of my nature. I thus find a balance between my outside and my inside, between becoming and memories.
