ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Steidel Fine Art Porcelain creates stunning ceramic wall installations for both public and private spaces. Debra and Charles collaborate on this body of work. Each of these 3 "Wall Slabs" were created by hand. A distinctive wave was created to add interest and texture. Made of a strong stoneware clay and glazed fired to over 2200 degrees. Post fire a layer of gold leaf was applied. Each hang from metallic standoffs and come with hanging instructions. Sold as a grouping of 3 slabs.

Debra Steidel began her career in ceramics in 1974, with a concentration on “Art Vessels". Charles Chapman joined Steidel Studios in 2012. Charles began his career in art in the 70’s as well, having attended the Goldsmith School of Art, London. Debra and Charles also work with Corporate Art Placement Companies and Design Firms and have completed over 25 installations for the cruise ships "Icon of the Sea" and "Utopia of the Sea".
