Year of the Rabbit Sculpture - Limited Edition of 3

I have always been intrigued by ancient folklore, one of my favorite legends being the story of the Great Race and the birth of the Chinese Zodiac. My mission in this project was to sculpt these legendary characters interacting with their Earthly Branches and patinated in their Elemental Colors. The Rabbit, who is green representing Wood, is one of 12 pieces in this collection. All hand sculpted from mixed medium and cast in bronze using the ancient lost wax process. Hard work done with lots of love and a little bit of magic! The Rabbit who is responsible, patient and kind... took fourth place in the Race. The granite base is 6x4x1. This piece is #2 of 3.
