I usually have some made-up story in my head that runs along with me as I paint. But this story will twist and turn and morph, so that when I'm done with the painting all that I'll have left are some blown apart bits. Narrative icons that are strewn within a curious abstract landscape.
Overall, my paintings are playful and full of joy, with just a hint of melancholy - they are my reaction to the world around me.
